Like a bird in flight, I snapped him in action: Francisco de Pájaro working on one of his “art is trash” pieces, just around the corner from my home. As always, with discarded bits of rubbish, making use of the urban infrastructure and his characteristic, subversive style.

Carrer Pintor Fortuny

Art is rubbish claims Francisco de Pájaro, a local graffiti artist whose style is very different from most. His style is rough, in your face, and more often than not, he leaves messages that are food for thought. Furthermore, he often uses the rubbish that has been put out on any given day, to create his pieces, and so his work is purposefully of a more ephemeral nature. He also puts his mark on fuse boxes and ventilation doors, and so a fair bit of his work has a slightly more permanent nature. These are the ones I am able to show you today – enjoy!
