Going cycling?

Barcelona is a city where cycling, both by locals and by its visitors, has taken off massively. As a result, the offer in rental bikes has exploded, with cut-throat offers here, there and everywhere. Cheap prices are all very well, but what about customer attention? Going cycling? I have just the place for you to rent your iron steed!

Homage to history

On carrer Lluna 1, David, a friendly bicycle enthusiast, decided to set up a very special bike rental shop: Barcelona Folding Bike. Full of historical images, this small shop pays homage to cycle heroes from the past, and has framed the tools of the trade for good measure.

Not far from the Macba museum and the Rambla del Raval, in an area that sees a lot of transit from hip (foreign) locals and some tourists, you can rent one of his sturdy black bikes, a colourful racing bike, or go for one of the black or white folding Bromptons he has invested in.

Safety rules

He has decided to make customer attention his main selling point, and so he includes the lock and helmet in his rental prices, and if you have a child with you, offers the seat for free also. Plus, he offers bikes which are free of publicity. Not bad, right?
