We’ve been having some yucky weather the past few days, but for today and tomorrow the forecasts are set to be quite good, so drop all you’re doing and come with me, for we’re going to join a convent. Yes, really! Trust me, you’ll be fine…
In for a treat?
2 Mar
I don’t know about you, but I’ve had an intense week, and am ready for the weekend. And weekends should be all about treats, so I have one in store for you in today’s post. Are you in for a treat?

Collector’s courtyard
17 Feb
Happy Friday! Today’s post is a long one, but not to worry, we’ll be chillaxing, winding down from the week and getting ready for the weekend in the lush courtyard of a museum dedicated to Frederic Marès (1893-1991), a renowned Catalan Modernist sculptor and collector.

Literary oasis
25 Nov
Today, I have a beautiful Gothic courtyard to share with you, the lovely Palau de Requesens. Currently it houses the Royal Academy of Letters. It’s really very beautiful I think, and any words of mine will not be an added value, so I’m leaving you with only the images….

Courtyard lushness
23 Sep
Another week has flown by and it’s Friday yet again. What plans do you have for the weekend? The festivities for Barcelona’s patron saint La Mercè started yesterday, so I will be enjoying those as much as possible, take lots of pictures to show you and also try to sneak in a bit of beach time… But first, I’d like to take you to a lush courtyard. Let’s go!

Cultural courtyard
4 Aug
Do you like watching films ‘al fresco’? I love it! It reminds me of Summers at the beach where the local open air cinema, with it’s uncomfortable chairs, would offer double sessions and people would gather, bocadillos and cushions under their arm to watch whatever good or crappy films were on. Well, I am happy to tell you that we have a similar thing here, in Barcelona, at the CCCB.

A courtyard study
25 Jul
Hello, I am back! Sorry for my absence – my internet (which had already been patchy lately) went on the brink and so I was unable to post anything for a couple of days. But, although I enjoyed the time off, I’m glad to be back! Today I have a lovely courtyard to show you – hope you like it!
