Plaça del Mar
Happy Monday! Every week is like a new game on a board, where Mondays are square one, and we hop from one space on the board to the next, squares + circles, until we arrive at Sunday… This thought came to me while I spotted these decorative elements on several of Barcelona’s buildings, so I thought I’d share them with you today.

Plaça del Mar
Can you imagine playing hop-scotch on the walls of this building in the Born? Or moving checker pieces on the doors of the Santa Maria del mar?

Plaça Sant Miquel
The squares + circles on the City Hall building on Plaça de Sant Miquel would make for a wonderful playground to hop from one square to the next, or throw balls into the circles, don’t you think? How about we make this week into a game? It sounds more fun that way, doesn’t it? In any case, and whether you are game or not, have a wonderful week, everyone!
