Last Monday I went to the 22@ district to have a wander among the many buildings that have popped up over the past years, and discovered that several have been covered with shutters and louvres. Here they are, enjoy!
There are some interesting buildings out there, and (please correct me if I’m wrong) it all started with Jean Nouvel’s Torre Agbar (below) which is covered with a multitude of shutters. Perhaps this set the tone for other architects to do the same, and hence the profusion of shutters and louvres in the area…
