Urban souvenirs

Carrer Mercé 31

As I told you yesterday, today I’m taking you souvenir shopping, and we’re going to Urbarna, where they sell urban souvenirs, designed in Barcelona. Coming?

Urbarna is tucked away in the lower part of the Barri Gòtic, on Carrer Mercé 31, just around the corner from Barcelona’s lovely main post office.  In this shop with its massive iron door, all sorts of fun and quirky items as well as great postcards are sold to remind you of your times in Barcelona, or to give to your friends and family. The great thing about these products, is they were designed by locals, and where any photography is involved (and that is in a large part of their collection), locals shot the photographs. So by buying at Urbarna, you will be supporting local artists and commerce. Do you need any more reasons to shop for your mementoes here? Ok, check out the photos – I’m pretty sure you’ll be convinced you’ll find something you like…

Convinced? In love with these urban souvenirs? I hope so! Anyway, have a great weekend, and hope to see you here on Monday!
