Snow white

Port Vell

It’s raining in Barcelona, and so the days are less bright than usual. I thought it would be a good idea to inject some brightness into our world by sharing some images of things that are snow white in Barcelona. Enjoy, and may your day be brightened!

In the old port there are a couple of floating men which are white, and which I think are very cute. This white man (below) with his lopsided smile is rather cute too, don’t you think?

Metro station Drassanes

Stark and white, that’s what metro station Drassanes and the office tower at Plaça Ildefons Cerdà both are.

Carrer Torres i Amat

A pure, white heart, and a pristine white Vespa – an ode to this city that I love so much, and in which motorcycles play such a prominent role.

La Rambla

White lights on the white balconies (above) that belong to one of the few modern buildings along La Rambla. The very beautiful white sgraffito on the walls of  the Pati de les Dones at the CCCB reminds me of beautiful white sheets with lace trims or pretty embroideries, that wrap you in a cosy snow white cocoon. Aaaah to be able to spend these rainy days in bed being lazy… but no rest for the wicked! I’ll be out and about in Barcelona today, getting wet no doubt, shooting more photos to share with you here, at the Cute Suite blog.
