At first glance you might not notice it, but the building I’m showing you today is covered with curvy, curly, wavy details. Wanna see? Come with me!
When you get nearer to this rather large building, you’ll notice the many shuttered windows, and at close-up, the curly leaves underneath these. Also, the lintel above the doorway is a bit of a curlicue, and rather pretty.
The corner is well rounded as it’s basically a cylinder that houses closed off balconies, and the other balconies, which are open, are pretty curly too.
In keeping with the ‘curvy’ theme of this building, its façade has been decorated with a pastille-shaped sgraffito, applied in horizontal bands.
All in all, and especially when you get a really close look at the structure, this is one wavy building! Hope you like it! Tomorrow I’ll be back with some interesting types… fins demà!
