At times it can be surprising how much graffiti one can find around Barcelona, and recently I found all these on one street! All with a certain quality to them, and without counting or showing you the many random tags which were also there, but which I generally don’t like…
Above, the beautiful Romy Schneider, immortalised once again, this time graffiti style, and below a rather sad looking soul child, which I’ve also seen on other streets in the neighborhood.
A very worthy cause (above) most definitely, and sad that in the 21st Century we still have to fight for it. A not so worthy (in my opinion) politician made fun of in this paper graffiti (below) shows him to be pointy eared and more colourful that he usually appears to be.
Animals of the real and made up varieties are apparently quite popular at the moment, for there are quite a few to be spotted around Barcelona. I like the blue monkey (above), not so much the rat (below) although I think it’s an interesting style.
Above a rather terrifying pig, wouldn’t you agree? And below, a boombox with a wallpaper-like background. Kind of funny.
The funniest, in my opinion, is this collection of black hands and the man with a ‘dog’ on its leash. What do you think? Do you like it?
