Welcome to Openhouse

There is a new addition to my street. And what a great addition it is! A beautiful shop, all about design, with a super friendly proprietor whose aim is to offer great design to suit all budgets, large and small.

The shop is called Openhouse. And just as the name indicates, it is a place to feel welcome, more a home than a shop, with all manner of gorgeous items to furnish or decorate your home, as well as accessories, some items of clothing and art.

All items have been carefully selected or designed by proprietor Andrew Trotter, who is not only very friendly, but has great taste and a keen eye for good design.

Beautiful photographs are currently exhibited on the walls and a profusion of green lushness added here and there which makes this home/shop come truly alive.

More art

Decorated with tones of grey and black, the shop has been kept largely in its original state and some old features have been lovingly kept visible for all to see.

The shop isn’t very large, but it is well stocked and you’ll be able to spend quite a while checking all it has to offer.

Carrer Notariat 6

Make sure to ask Andrew about the items he has designed for Openhouse Collection – they are simple yet well designed and beautifully executed. Openhouse is open Monday – Saturday, and located on Carrer Notariat 6 (just a couple of doors away from the Cute Suite). This coming Thursday, June 30th, is the grand opening – don’t miss it!

*** Unfortunately,  Openhouse closed its doors in the Summer of 2012. New projects are in the making – as soon as I have news, I will let you know via the Cute Suite blog!
