Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is a special one. It is my 100th post! And so I have chosen one of my favourite graffiti artists to celebrate this fact, the grin-inducing PEZ. Enjoy!
The trade-mark grinning fish produced by this graffiti artist, can be found all over the world since 1999. But he still continues to paint in his native Barcelona, to the delight of many, myself included (and no doubt annoyance of others).
He also gets commissions to paint the blinds of local businesses, such as the one above on Carrer Riera Alta, and the one below, around the corner from the Cute Suite, on Carrer Pintor Fortuny.
Around El Raval there are quite a few spots (mostly on blinds) where PEZ has left his mark, so if you visit Barcelona, be sure to check them out. During the week you might miss them, for shops, and thus blinds, will be open, but on Sundays shops are closed, so that is the best time to go ‘fishing’ for PEZ art.
These two, on Carrer Hospital and Carrer Floristes de la Rambla, are also to be found nearby the Cute Suite – am I lucky or what? I get to see them very often!
This little fish below is a recent one, and by the looks of it, done in a rush and unfinished. It can be found on a blind wall next to the Macba, on Carrer Montalegre, in the company of many other tags and graffiti art works.
I’m off to celebrate my 100th post (which I hope you enjoyed), but will be back tomorrow, same time, same place. Fins demà!

Je 100e !!!! Van harte. En ook deze post is weer een feestje. Wat doe je dat toch goed.
Dank je!! Ik kan het nauwelijks geloven!! Nu op naar de volgende 100!
Happy 100th!!
