Carrer Carders 28
Just down the street from Hatquarters, there is a cute shop dedicated to yummy mummys and their little rockers. The shop is called Mujer, and it’s located on Carrer Carders 28.

Mujer is owned by Lulu an (English) yummy mummy herself, who has been in Barcelona for a number of years and decided to set up this shop, after being a stall holder for many years. She also runs Viva Kids, a distribution agency for the following brands, which can also be found in the shop: Beauty and the Bib, Inch Blue, Kari Me, Kid cashmere, Stardust Kids and Toe Rag Clothing.

Her corner shop is positively overflowing with all sorts of goodies, and you have to spend some time in the shop before you can take it all in. But Lulu, who is super friendly, will be happy to give indications and offer advice as to what you might need or be looking for.

At the back of the shop various notices inform of workshops and other gatherings for mummys in Barcelona, be they expat or not. But especially for the expat mum, Mujer can be a safe haven, when feeling a little lost, as advice about all sorts of motherhood related matters can be obtained.

*** UPDATE *** unfortunately, this lovely shop is no longer, as I found when I walked past recently. What a pity, it closed in December, but the lovely clothes and other useful things for mums and kids are sold in various other shops around town. One of these shops, is U.F.O. also in Carrer Carders.
